San Antonio Light House for the Blind 

True North took a tour of the San Antonio Light House for the Blind to learn more about one of the cities thriving non-profits. We were blown away by the people who have worked so hard to make this organization a success.

The San Antonio Lighthouse for the Blind is a private, non-profit organization incorporated in the State of Texas. Serving people who are blind or visually impaired for more than 78 years, the San Antonio Lighthouse for the Blind provides rehabilitation services as well as employment for the blind in its light manufacturing assembly plant. The mission of the San Antonio Lighthouse for the Blind is to provide rehabilitation services and employment opportunities that will enable blind and visually impaired individuals to live high quality, independent lives.
