You are an eternal and all-knowing God, the great shepherd that takes great care over His flock. It is the blessing of life’s struggles and challenges that call us into Your protection. For those who don’t answer the shepherd’s call there is great danger and their ultimate peril is certain. Father in Heaven, give us the ears to hear and a humble heart, as well as the wisdom to stay in the protection that only You can provide. I am grateful for life’s struggles as they are a source of humility. They inoculate me from my human pride. I seek your Holy Spirit, o God, that my life is a living sacrifice which brings you great glory. Remove from me anything that will prevent me from honoring you. Your blessings I pray for those in need. As the great shepherd call them into your comfort and protection. In your holy name I pray. -Amen
