Born and raised in the heart of San Antonio, Sloan grew up with an older sister, Quinn, and her two rock star parents, Mark and Jenny. After graduating high school, she took a leap of faith and moved to the Carolina Mountains to attend Appalachian State University where she competed for the Mountaineer’s Varsity Volleyball team. While there, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Public Relations in 3 years time so that she could spend her 4th year of athletic eligibility to receive her Master of Business Administration.Sloan began her sales career in 2015 and has loved the journey that has come with it. What motivates her most in this role is finding ways to truly help clients improve their business. With an ultimate passion for people, Sloan values partnership and loves building relationships. As the Director of Sales Recruiting for Jordan Sitter, she gets to do just that. By consulting with local business owners, her goal is to identify solutions and provide quality candidates that ultimately grow their business.Outside of the office, Sloan prioritizes the 3 most important F’s in her life: Faith, Family, and Friends. Her faith drives her to be the best mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend she can be on a daily basis. Not a day will go by that she does not feel grateful for her wonderful husband (Corey), daughter (Hunter) and 2 Weimaraners – Pearl and Trigger. Quality time with the ones she loves is her favorite hobby and after spending nearly 7 years out of Texas and away from family, Sloan is very excited to have returned to her San Antonio roots.

SUMMARY

The Territory Sales Representative is an individual who would like to take part in building something greater. You will be responsible for building and expanding Ecco‘s reach across the region through growing new and existing relationships. You will have the autonomy to generate sales and solutions to customers that are mutually beneficial to both Ecco and the client.

DUTIES
  • TSRs objective to find and develop new customers, maintain, and grow current customers, understand the fleet demands and requirements of the customer base and grow overall performance of the assigned territory.
  • Manage assigned territory with support from the region and central operations team.
  • Communicate with existing customers and leads to identify and understands needs.
  • Secure commitments (signed contracts) from existing customers and potential customers.
  • Support operations team as requested and as needed.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management by resolving customer concerns, billing, or service issues professionally and quickly.
  • Drive profitable growth by strengthening and expanding customer base through regular visits to current customers, cold calls, and networking to generate new leads.
  • Develop and execute an annual territory sales plan, including coordinating strategies for account management, customer presentations, forecasting equipment needs and collections with operational team.
  • Develop and become an expert in understanding the construction and rental market within assigned territory.
  • Develop and become an expert in our product knowledge and assisting customers to spec out the correct equipment and applications.
  • Maintain accurate reports and database records of customer contacts/activities and transactions.
  • Maintain strong situational awareness regarding fleet assets in assigned territory.
  • Daily documentation of all activities in company CRM system.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Three (3) – five (5) years of successful sales experience within heavy dirt equipment rental or dealer organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Possess reoccurring transferrable book of business
  • Experience working with web-based CRM software
  • Heavy Earthmoving Rental Experience Preferred
  • Strong sales and customer service experience
  • Ability to cultivate and nurture customer relationships
  • Excellent communication skills
